Info
Daybreak is a stylized bullet heaven game where players fight hordes of void entities in a vanishing world. Inspired by Vampire Survivors and 20 Minutes Till Dawn, it features elements for ongoing updates and replay-ability. The gameplay focuses on 5-minute sessions, with social sharing features to compete with friends for daily high scores.

My Contributions
Level Generation
I've so far been heavily involved in creating our level generation system. Working with laying numerus steps to achieve an enclosed environment for players to explore and dominate in. I've already implemented the ability for structures to spawn in various locations around the island with procedurally drawn paths to guide the player when exploring. Now all that's left for the system is to create the models and structures for our world.Physics and Interactions
I've also assisted my team with developing the character movement system for our game. We've developed a method for characters to adhere to the surface of the terrain while maintaining their physics properties, allowing us to play with forces and knock back effects.Gallery
